The Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial will be dedicated at 12 noon on the 22 February 2017 in a joint event with the annual Civic commemorative ceremony to mark the sixth anniversary of the deadly February 2011 earthquake.

Dedication Ceremony and Civic Memorial Service

The Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial(external link) dedication ceremony and Civic Memorial service will be held at the Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial site, near the Montreal Street Bridge and Oxford Terrace corner, from 12pm to 1.30pm Wednesday 22 February, 2017.
