Some Port Hills tracks remain temporarily closed:
Kennedys Bush Track, Worsley Spur Track, and Old Dyers Pass Rd MTB Track
Part of the Crater Rim Walkway between Ella's Track and Mt Cass.
The Summit Road will be temporarily closed for recreational access between Bridle Path and Major Hornbrook Saddle while works are being undertaken on Mt Cavendish Bluff.
The road will be closed on these dates:
Alternate route is Crater Rim Walkway, for walking or carrying bikes.
Some tracks on the Port Hills are still closed following the Canterbury earthquakes in 2011: Heathcote Quarry Track and Whitewash Head Track. The Flowers Track is open and Taylors Track from 121 Taylors Mistake Road to Taylors Mistake Beach.
