Come along to one of our candidate information sessions to find out what you need to know about being a candidate, and what’s involved in representing your community as an elected member.
It’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions and get information.
Both sessions will be held at the Christchurch City Council Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street in the Function Room on Level 1. Best access is via Worcester Boulevard.
Nominations for all positions open on Friday 19 July 2019 and close at noon on Friday 16 August 2019. If you're thinking of standing, we're here to help.
This includes elections for Christchurch City Council and Community Boards, Environment Canterbury and the Canterbury District Health Board.
The next local body elections will be held on Saturday 12 October 2019.
